In this critical role for the Diversified Business Group, you will drive divisional business functions and ensure employee efforts support enterprise and divisional goals and objectives. Provide overall management of financial operations, growth and strategy, communications and administration. Manage business and financial affairs related to the administration of division.

What You'll Do:

Manage division operations

  • Plan and coordinate content and critical talking points for all division events, including all-hands, offsites, partner visits, and employee meetings for the Diversified Business Group
  • Prepare agendas and participate in team, leader and divisional meetings, ensuring alignment to critical priorities and appropriate monitoring.
  • Identify opportunities to drive increased engagement and cross-pollination of ideas within the division and amongst the teams
  • Track on-going prioritization initiatives that enable a deeper level of integration between enterprise and divisional operations

Communications

  • Manage all SVP communications to the Board, enterprise, division, and externally to drive more awareness for the company's work, drive deeper integration, and improve our national exposure
  • Deeply engage our talent throughout the division informing them of what is happening in the industry and enterprise to identify new opportunities improve their knowledge and enterprise engagement
  • Lead internal divisional communications including identifying cross-collaboration, training, corporate events like GoodWorks, and other opportunities to improve engagement
  • Collaborate and help organize communications and events with our lines of business partners to ensure we improve and maximize their internal and external exposure respectively
  • Work in collaboration with the Enterprise communications and legal teams with regard to enterprise and/or external communications

Talent Management & Employee Experience

  • Continue to expand and oversee divisional Talent Management & Employee Experience programming in accordance with enterprise and divisional initiatives to include: onboarding processes and programs, all-level and targeted training programs and sessions, and curating enterprise opportunities for individuals
  • Build and manage infrastructure for each team in the division to create consistency within the division to manage our talent manage processes (quarterly and annual). This includes how we reward talent annually and throughout the year, promotions, external learning opportunities, etc.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources partners to maximize employee engagement, development, and performance through goal setting and change management practices

What You'll Give:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience
  • In lieu of degree, 12+ years of experience in related field

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, leading teams and leaders.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, ecosystem dynamics, and key stakeholders' needs and priorities
  • Highly collaborative, with a proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing cross-functional relationships and communicating effectively with all levels of staff, including senior leadership
  • Self-starter who is able to navigate ambiguity with a high level of autonomy
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience translating and communicating complex topics in easy and approachable ways.
  • Ability to think beyond their immediate team and contribute to making Blue Cross NC holistically better (active engagement in DE&I efforts, culture initiatives, facilitating training, etc.)

Salary Range

$119,900.00 - $227,800.00
